Monday blues are brightened by fancy shoes.

*Firstly I have been utterly rubbish with posting recently so I am sorry. Just had a bit of a tough year, and blogging has been put on the back burner because of that. But on a plus I have a lot of new clothes to blog about, happy days!
**I bought these shoes the other week from French Connection and was very happy with them. I had been walking past the window everyday on my way to work seeing these shoes but was too scared to go in and see the price, in case I fell in love with them. However, they were a complete steal, being reduced from a £160 to  £37! I was literally over the moon! I find French Connection generally too over priced for the quality of clothes, so their sale is always good as the clothes get reduced to a normal price.

I'm a lazy dancer..

Jumper: Topshop
Skirt: Topshop
Blouse: Topshop
Nail vanish Base: Rimmel Pro, 397 Beige Babe
Nail vanish spots: Barry M, 318 Peach Melba
Nail Vanish Black outline: Models Own, Nail Art pen

*This was my first attempt at trying the leopard print nail vanish effect, and I don't think it has gone too badly, but still need a bit of practice. I want to try it in some other colours also.

**It was my day off today and I feel like I have barely done anything. Just had so many little chores to do which I didn't get a chance to do yesterday since I was sleeping most of the day after my night out in London town. Been looking around at cameras though, as I really want a new decent one. So if anyone has any preferences on good SLR ones your views and opinions would be most welcomed :)

***I saw the trailer the other day for the new film 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', and I literally cannot wait for it to come out, it looks so good! I've read all the books and they were amazing, I would definitely recommend these to anyone as they are so easy to get into. I saw the Swedish adaptation with my boyfriend a few months ago and wasn't greatly impressed, but I think it may have been due to me recently finishing the book and knowing all the parts they had changed or missed out, which I guess isn't fair as I like to forget that it is an adaptation and not just an exact copy of the book. Anyway have a watch of the trailer here!

Limos and cupcakes

Dress (comes with belt) : Republic
Tights: Topshop
Jacket: Topshop
Necklace: Primark

*Excuse the mess in the background of these pics, my house is having building work done so everywhere is a bit of a mess! Also I promise I am in a happy mood today, not that these pictures really show that..

**It's my friends birthday tonight and this is what I was planning to wear. I'm so excited for tonight's festivities! We are getting a limo from hers to London and then heading to some clubs there where we get free cupcakes and goodies as it's her birthday, so it should be pretty good! I wanted to get these leopard print shoe boots from New Look, but they didn't have my size.. boooo! but I guess it was a good thing as I would probably have had to buy a new handbag to go with it.

Bargin Hunt

Cardigan: Topshop
T-Shirt: Esprit
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: Primark
Necklace: Topshop

Unfortunately these clothes aren't antique but they were cheap as chips, and that's good enough for me! I really like patent shoes, and I love the chunky laces on these.
This is just a quick post as I'm about to head to the gym with one of my friends. I'm on a healthy eating regime before my graduation in November, and so far excluding a trip to Pizza Hut and eating several large cakes... I have done ok, haha.

What Kate Did

Today I have had a pretty lazy day, just went into town with my boyfriend and had a mooch round the shops, where I bought this jumper from Topshop. One of the reasons I really like it is that it reminds me of Harry Potter and the jumpers that Mrs Weasley made everyone for Christmas... yes I am a Harry Potter geek! I am also getting a little obsessed with things with my name on, which is probably quite obvious from this post! Although, I do also really like the colour of this Rimmel 05 lipstick from the Kate Moss range which I'm wearing in this picture.

Floppy hats

Hat: Primark
Shirt: New Look
Skirt: Topshop

I feel like I have been working loads recently and haven't really had any time till now to post anything new! Saying that though I do seem to have quite a few new clothes, as all I seem to do in my lunch breaks is go shopping! bye bye money! I bought this shirt today from New Look. I am really into animal prints this season,  and the fact that New Look are giving an extra 20% off with NUS cards is even better! I am also really into floppy hats at the mo, and love this one I found in Primark, for £6 you really cannot go wrong! I think I'm going to wear this outfit to my friends house warming this Saturday, as it's something that you could jazz up with a pair of heels for the evening, as we will probably go out into town later on.

Once upon a time...

Dress - Topshop
Cardi - Help the Aged Charity shop,
Boots - Office (old),
Necklace - Topshop

This is my first proper post with pics of outfits and everything :)

I bought this dress the other day from Topshop and I absolutely love it! It is one of those dresses that is perfect for the changing of seasons, as it can easily be worn on a hot day with sandals, or like today be worn with booties and tights when it's slightly colder. Plus it's super comfy! I teamed it with my old baggy cardi that I stumbled across in a charity shop in Winchester, but it would also look great with a leather, or fux fur jacket too. I think another reason why I particularly love this dress is that it is one of the first things I bought with my first pay check from my new full time job since I left uni. So now it has a little sentimental value too.

Had a pretty average day today, just been sorting out things that I want to get rid of with my mum, and I literally cannot believe the amount of junk and general crap that I have collected over the years! As well as some of the clothes I have purchased. One word, shocking! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow as I'm meeting up with some uni friends which will most likely consist of eating lots and finding some good old bargains.
